A NEW METHOD OF ESTIMATING FRACTAL DIMENSION IN FRACTAL MODEL OF MINEROGENETIC PREDICTION

Shen Wei (China University of Geosciences,Wuhan 430074)  
The author of this paper presents a brief introduction of fractal theory and it′s application to the minerogenetic prediction. Then an improved method of solving fractal dimension is proposed with the study of fractal model and its curvature.The new method about solving fractal dimension is more precise than traditonal method in estimationg fractal dimension and has many advantages. Finally the paper explains the method and procedure of fractal theory in application and real meaning of fractal dimension by an example.
