REFLECTION OF SURFACE RUCOFF VARIATION BY TREE-RIONG IN ITS DRAINAGE AREA

Based on the fact that precipitation variation can be sensitively recorded by tree-ring stable-carbon-isotopic composition-series (δ 13 C t), we use parallel-variation relation bewteen δ 13 C t of tree-ring collected from Changbai Mountain and yearly-runoff-amount of Songhuajiang River to reconstruct a record of historic variation of yearly-runoff-amount of the recent two hundrd years. The results show:obvious quasi-22-year period existing in the yearly-runoff-amount series;historic variation of runoff amount showing going-up tendency before 1900 and going-down tendency after 1900 in association with periodic fluctuation.
