Necessary and sufficient condition for oscillations of nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations

Oscillatory properties of solutions of certain nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations are investigated, a series of sufficient conditions and a necessary and sufficient condition for oscillations of the equations are established. The results fully indicate that the oscillations are caused by delay. These are important conclusions, and hence reveal the essential differences between the equations and those equations without delay.
