Design of switching power source for servo system

The switching power source used in servo power system was designed based on UC3825 and IPM(Integrated Power Module) module. The main circuit is a fullbridge transform structure. The main switch based on IPM has IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) driving function with short circuit, over current, over temperature, and lower voltage protection circuits. It reduces the circuit complexity and improves reliability. A control circuit and protection circuit are also included. The system has been verified in experiments. The transfer effect of this power is 80%; the holding time of output voltage can keep 20 ms, the wider voltage modification and smaller ripple ensures the stabilization of Servo system. Many measures are made to improve the reliability of system and reduces the disturb to electricnetwork.
