MWMPCA with application to batch processes monitoring

The traditional MPCA (Multi-way Principal Component Analysis) method needs to fill in the unknown part of the process variable from the current time until the end of the batch for on-line monitoring batch processes. So there is not only a greater computational burden, but also a possible deviation between the estimated data and the real data.A new approach to on-line monitoring batch processes is presented. The MWMPCA (Moving Window Multi-way Principal Component Analysis) method which only uses the known data for monitoring batch processes is presented in this paper to overcome the above disadvantages.
