Comparative Research on Feature Extraction to Recognize Underwater Target

The efficiency of feature extraction is the key to recognize the submarine target.The better method is to obtain fewer eigenvector dimension.This paper researched on the average distance of different sorts,the compact measurement of the same sort and the relative value of different sorts.Some comparative results that the target is of the same state and in the same environment are given.It can be seen from these results that different feature extraction methods have different applicable condition,fusing different characteristics is an effective approach to improve the recognition ratio.
