Calculation of Risk Assessment Foundation for Flammable Multi-component Liquid Mixtures

Flash point is the major foundation which is used to assess explosive danger of flammable liquid.On the basis of theories such as chemical thermodynamics,combustion and explosion limit and gas-liquid balance and so on,methods such as law of partial pressure,Antoine vapor pressure equation,VanLaar gas-liquid balance equation,and infinite dilution activity coefficient and others were employed in this paper and ethanol-water was taken as an example of binary flammable liquid mixtures in order to obtain the flash point of the binary flammable mixture under any component,by which an effective and easy approach was expected to get the foundation of risk assessment on combustion and explosion of multi-component flammable liquid mixtures and meet the actual needs for risk assessment on combustion and explosion of flammable liquid in social production and living,security and fire control management.
