MICROSTRUCTURAL AND DYNAMICAL STUDIES OF THE ANNINGHE FRACTURE ZONE

The Anninghe fracture zone is located in the western Sichuan and about 600km long in N-S. It belongs to a lithiospheric fracture and has a long evolutionary process. According to the researchresult, the tectonite consists of mylonite and cataclasite in the fracture zone. It is very clear that thequartz and the mica show plastic deformation in the tectonite. But, almost all the feldspars show thebrittle deformation. The microstructural kinematic analysis shows compressive and shearing properties.Based on the study of transmission electron microscope, the stress difference generally is fron 110 to130 MPa and the strain rate is estimated in the grade of 10~(-13) sec~(-1). This fracture zone belongs to abrittle-ductile shear zone.
