SEDIMENTARY FEATURES OF THE NANGQIAN TERTIARY BASIN IN QINGHAI PROVINCE

The Nangqian basin locates at the eastern Tibet Qinghai plateau and is on a low study level at present because of its grim environment. The authors describe in details its features such as the surface form, petrologic features, depositional system , palaeo flow etc. Moreover, the authors point out that the sedimentary environment is proximal and quickly accumulated. All provinces disclose the development of the basin and the activity of Zhaqu Fault which controls the basin development.
