RESEARCH FOR HIGH RESOLUTION SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHY OF JURASSIC ON SOUTH MARGIN IN ILI BASIN

Taking Jurassic on the south margin in Ili basin as example, this paper utilizes the theory of high resolution sequence stratigraphy to analyse in detail the features of the short-term base level cycle, medium-term base level cycle and long-term base level cycle. Based on the above, the paper utilizes the cycle equitime principle to compared the base-level cycles in different drilled wells and establish a high resolution sequence stratigraphy correlation framework and then discusses simply the distribution characteristic of reservoir U sandbodies in the high resolution sequence stratigraphy framework.
