THE ELEMENT CHARACTERISTICS IN THE SOIL LAYER OF CHENGDU JINSHA SITE AND ENVIRONMENT MEANING

A representative section is chosen in Guanghan layer exposed in the Chengdu Jinsha site in this article, and an initial research into its element geochemical behavior is done. The result shows that the (resemblance) of REE curves reveals the consanguinity of soil matter and the element content in the top, centre and bottom of at the section changes regularly. This reflects matter decomposition, the element (migration) and the climate change in the pedogenetic course. The element characteristics in the soil layer of the Chengdu Jinsha site indicate that it formed in the arid environment. The deposit from Layer 1 to 4 has the same change trend and reflects the modern climate.
