Generalized recognition and distribution of reservoirs for Lower Paleozoic buried-hill in Zhuangxi-Chengdao area, Jiyang sag, China

The Lower Paleozoic carbonate reservoir of buried-hill in Zhuangxi-Chengdao, Jiyang sag, was reconstructed by stronger karstification in Middle Ordovician. During Indo-China movement, folds and abruptions happened, lots of fractures were produced, so the reservoirs grew comparatively. This paper sets the reservoirs criteria for distinguishing from the fractures and attacks based on drilling and logging, and the reservoirs are categorized into three classifications (Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ). The research results show that the reservoirs in this area are mainly controlled by lithological character, karstification and rifiting.The vertical dirstribution of reservoirs takes on obvious zonality. The reservoirs located in the top karst zone grow best, that in the middle part are better, and that in the nether section are poorly developed. Finally, the two better reservoir zones are founded, one is the karst zone which is about fifty meters in thickness in Chengdao area, and the another is the outcrop area not covered by Permo-Carboniferous in Zhuangxi area.
