Modeling of subwater fan reservoir microfacies using the hierarchical object-based modelling method in the Pucheng oilfield,China

This paper introduces a new object-based stochastic method-the reservoir hierarchical object-based modeling(Fluvsim).Compared with the old stochastic modeling methods,Fluvsim emphasizes the analysis of the reservoir hierarchy and the correlation of different genetic geological units.Fluvsim introduces a new object reproduction technology with obvious characteristics of total object construction and is integrated with the simulated annealing to enhance data conditioning.The geological model of C median base-level cycle has been constructed using Fluvsim in the Pucheng oilfield of the Dongpu depression.The geological model has been tested and verified.The vertical proportion of channel is reproduced well and the error is less than 3 percent.Further more,the average match ratio of the channel is up to 80 percent.The constructed geological model is precise.
