Determination of the distribution of heterogeneity of a reservoir by using the clustering-theory in Grey System

There are many factors that affect the heterogeneity of a reservoir.The control of the heterogeneity of a reservoir over the water-injection development is very strong,especially over the distribution of the residual oil in the high water-cutting development phase.On the basis of the comprehensive analysis of the factors that affect the heterogeneity of a reservoir,the paper puts up the theory of using the clustering-theory in Grey System to determine the distribution of the heterogeneity.This method can conduct the comprehensive thoughts,analysis and sorting on many kinds of factors that affect the heterogeneity of a reservoir.It has been applied to the Liangjialou oil-field C47 block S_3 reservoirs and gained good results.It locates the extra-powerful heterogeneity area,powerful heterogeneity area,moderate heterogeneity area,weak heterogeneity area,and extra-weak heterogeneity area.This paper puts forward a new method for the study of the heterogeneity of a reservoir and the excavation of the residual oil.
