The reliability analysis about the anchoring depth of a friction pile

Using the qualification that the lateral stress of rigid pile design must follow,the authors found the calculated model of anchoring depth reliability analysis.They study the application of the reliability analysis method to the anchoring depth correction through examples and consider that in the anchoring depth correction,if the calculate parameter is regarded as a fixed value,this may not be content with the needs of the reliability design and a miscarriage to judge phenomena will appear;but if the calculated parameter is regarded as a random variable,and the failure probability is used to check and correct the results,the miscarriage to judge real phenomena can be reduced.
