A new method for subdividing the sedimentary microfacies of braided river channel in the middle of humid fan

Based on the sedimentary characteristics of a humid fan,this paper presents a new method for subdividing the sedimentary microfacies-lithofacies of the braided river channel in the middle of a humid fan,through a synthetic analysis of single well facies and log facies.According to petrophysical,electrical properties and oil-bearing grade of different types of lithofacies,the braided river channel can be subdivided into three types of macrofacies-lithofacies,namely the braided river channel glutenite facies,braided river channel coarse sandstone facies and braided river channel fine sandstone facies.The further research shows that sedimentary microfacieslithofacies has a significant effect on oil distribution and production in conglomerate reservoirs.This is a good coincidence with the performance of oil production.Through the above analysis,a profitable target can be reached and the distribution of residual oil can be forecasted.This is very meaningful to the further development of the conglomerate reservoir.
