Origin of lacustrine dolomite in the Paleogene Shahejie Formation of Liaodongwan basin, China

The deep lacustrine facies dolomite exits in the stratum of Paleogene Shahejie Formation in Liaodongwan basin,its distribution is only in the deep sag;the rock characteristic is dolomicrite mainly,and the matter composition gives first place to ankerite.It appears as very infertile interlayers in black mudstone of deep lacustrine facies,and the accumulative thickness is about 6 ~ 10 m.The occurrence location is obviously controlled by the western fracture of Liaozhong sag.Through the systematic study on the sedimentology,petrology,mineralogy,geochemistry and the comparison with genetic characteristics of hydrothermal dolomite in Xiagou Formation of Qingxi sag in Jiuxi basin,the authors think that the deep lacustrine facies dolomite in Shahejie Formation of deep sag developing in the Luda aera also belongs to lacustrine facies hydrothermal sedimentary rock,which has the infrequently especial genetic meaning.
