A research of the soil cut high slope deformation characteristics based on centrifugal model tests

Through the centrifugal model tests,the paper reveals the deformation characteristics and stress of the soil cut high slope in the process of excavation and unloading and analyzes the influence of the changing soil parameters of the soil cut high slope(density and water content) on the deformation characteristics and fictitious forces(generated by the artificial control of the slope surface deformation),as well as the relation between them.It discusses the rule of the influence of the slope surface under excavation and unloading on the upper and lower slopes(reflected by the changes of the slope surface deformation and the fictitious forces).The test results show that the water content increasing and density reducing of the slope will change the stress state of the slope,increase the slope lateral displacement and reduce the slope stability.
