Analysis of the ore-control factors and genesis of the Qingshan gold deposit,Shaanxi,China

Based on the summarization the geologic features of the Qinshan gold deposit in Shaanxi of China and through the studies on the ore-bearing rock series and ore-control factors.The authors infer that the regional chessboard tectonics control the deposit location and the chessboard structures in the ore field control the distribution of the ore blocks.The strata,the lithofacies and the chessboard structures control the occurrences and the shapes of the orebodies.The source bed of the Qinshan gold deposit is the Upper Devonian Jiuliping Formation formed by hydrothermal sedimentation.The study of the hydrogen and oxygen isotopes in this deposit shows that the water source of the deposit is the ancient precipitated water transformed by strong tectonization.Lead isotope shows that the heat source is probably provided by deep intrusive rocks.Through the above-mentioned study,the authors infer preliminarily that the deposit is a hot-spring gold deposit.
