Analysis of control factors of the sandstone reservoir in Member 8 of Xiashihezi Formation in Sulige area,Ordos Basin,China

Based on the analysis of matter source,precipitation facies,reservoir characteristics and diagenesis,this paper studies the reservoir petrology characteristic,physical property characteristic and reservoir controlling factors of He-8(Member 8 of Xiashihezi Formation of Permian) reservoir in the Sulige area of Ordos Basin.The result shows that the reservoir rock types of He-8 in the braided-stream depositional environment of the Sulige area consist of quartz sandstone,detritus quartz sandstone and lithic sandstone.The petrology characteristics are high compositional maturity and middle textural maturity.The reservoir has the most developing secondary corroded hollows and kaolinite inter-crystalline holes and is a representative middle-low porous and special low permeable reservoir.On a plane,the reservoir physical property is controlled by matter source and precipitation facies and vertically the compaction and cementation lead the reservoir physical property become poor.The secondary pores induced by the corrosion in the acid and basic environments improve the reservoir physical property.
