Technology of multielement information analysis used for seeking ore deposits in Linzhou area of Tibet,China

In recent years,because the prospective study of 1∶50 000 minerals is spread and unceasingly carried out in depth,the Linzhou basin has been another significant prospective area for seeking ore deposits and also presents enormous potential.By using the remote sensing techniques to extract and learn the region lineament,annular solid,wall rock alteration information and so on,combined with the geochemical anomaly results,the prospective area of seeking ore deposit is located.Based on the synthetic analysis of lineament density,the authors extract two insidious annular dome structures and all sorts of major N-W trend rift structures.By both specific value analysis and principal component analysis,they gain the wall sock alteration information,so as to supply symbol for seeking ore deposits by remote sensing.By using the methods of Mahalanobis Distance and Multivariate Statistics,they get rid of the geochemical background value so that to ensure the geochemical anomaly contour map.Finally,based on the GIS compositive and comprehensive analysis of geology,remote sensing,and geochemical prospecting,they determine 3 prospective areas for seeking ore deposits,present the combination of skills for seeking ore deposits in the typical volcanic emergence areas of Linzhou basin,and point out the range of reconnaissance.
