ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DEPOSITS AND TECTONICS OF THE SICHUAN-YUANAN-GUIZHOU Pb-Zn MINERALIZED BELT

The paper discusses the relationship of the ore belts, deposits and shape and occurrence of orebodies with tectonics in the well-known Sichuan-yunnan-Guizh on Ph-2n mineralizedzone and draws a conclusion of structural grade ore-control. It proposes for the first time that theformation mechanism of the carbonate rock type stratabound ore deposits of the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou mineralized zone is that the dispersed elements hosted in a beneficial factes-lithologiczone are precipitated and enriched in the course of the late tectonic movement in the presence ofthe leed-zinc remobilization in the enclosed high pressure environment and in the open low pressure environment. Therefore among a good deal factors, tectonics palys a leading role in the formation of deposits.
