REVISION OF QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS DEVIATION OF CLAY MINERALS

Lin Jinhui, Lin Xijin (Chengdu University of Technology, China)  
K values of common minerals including montmorillonite, chlorite, illite, kaolinite, feldspar, calcite, dolomite, hematite and opal were determined by using matrix flushing and auto flushing methods which were adopted from X ray diffraction quantitative analysis methods . Based on these testing methods, the authors adopted the dilute method to revise the quantitative deviation which resulted from the difference of crystallinity and directionality of clay minerals.
