Applications of digital weather radar echo information to artificial influence on weather

CHI Zhu ping, ZHANG Su ping, FENG Gui li, CHEN Jin min (Shandong Meteorological Research Institute, Jinan 250031, China)  
The echo information obtained from a digital weather radar system are used for the recognition of the echo types, the vertical water content, the effect inspection and so on. The treatment techniques are also discussed.
