Asymptotic distributions of yearly maximum surface temperature and wind in Chongqing district

The data of the yearly maximum surface temperature between 1951 and 1990 and wind between 1956 and 1990 in ChongQing district are analyzed.The asymptotic distributions are simulated with the Weibull and Gumbel distributions.According to the statistic inference method the Weibull distribution is discovered to the best asymptotic one.
