Experimental Study on CO_2 Huff & Puff in Waterflooding Heavy Oil Reservoirs

In order to further enhance the production performance of conventional water-flooding heavy oil reservoirs,in-house experimental approach is conducted to study the mechanism and feasibility of CO_2 huff puff after water flooding and the recovery parameters affecting the production performance of CO_2 huff puff.The experiment result shows that cyclic gas injection,injection rate,shut-in time,bottom hole pressure and patterns of pressure release all influence the production performance of CO_2 huff puff;and good effect can be received by properly controlling the recovery parameters listed above.
