Challenges to Chinese tourism in law after entry of WTO

QIU Jian-ying (Foreign Language College, Changchun University, Changchun 130022, China)
It is time for China to join WTO. This gives Chinese tour agents a great challenge though it is a challenge of both advantage and disadvantage. Facing the competition of the foreign tour agents, we must be quite conscious of our own weakness and try to improve and perfect ourselves and prepare the most suitable strategy. At present, to set up a relatively ideal tourism law system and make it on the same track with the international tourism law system is the first urgent thing to do. We can compete freely in the large international economical circle and make some surviving space only after we have done all of this.
