Analysis of Esterase Isozymes of Elymus dahuricus,Hordeum brevisubulatum Their Hybrid F 1 and BC 1

The esterase(EST) isozymes of Elymus dahuricus,Hordeum brevisubulatum, their Hybrid F 1 and BC 1 were analyzed by polyacrylamid gel electrophoresis.The results showed that toth E.dahuricus and H.brevisubulatum had 9 base bands at same location,whhich meant that the relationship between E.dahuricus and H.brevisubulatum was closer;the zymogram types of the hybrid F 1 were mainly the mutual suplementary isozymes of the parents,very few isozyme bands of the parents were lost,the hybrid F 1 had a hybrid band,the zymograms of the hybrid F 1 showed a tendency toward the maternal type;there were no significant differences in EST zymograms between H.brevisubulatum×E.dahuricus×H.brevisubulatum (BC 1)and E.dahuricus×H.brevisubulatum×H.brevisubulatum (BC 1),but some differences existed,the zymograms of BC 1 showed a tendency toward the recurrent parent H.brevisublatum obviously.There were polymorphisms in isozymes among the parents,their hybrid F 1 and BC 1,which can be used as genetic marker to identify hybrid and determine the plants with object characteristics in backcross desendants.
