Impact of Family Visit on Diet Therapy Compliance of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Objective To study the impact on the family-call for the patients with type 2 diabetes diet therapy compliance.Methods 100 cases of discharged patients were randomly divided into experimental and control groups,each with 50 cases.After the patient left the hospital,a house-call was carried on in the experimental group.Anymplementation of the control group did not intervene.At the discharge moment and six months after discharge,patients were evaluated in the items of diet compliance and blood glucose of limosis,2 hours postprandial blood glucose,total cholesterol,triglycerides,and weight control situation.Results diet treatment compliance,the diet treat various projects compliance and the blood sugar,the blood ester,the body weight control situation in experimental group surpassed the control group(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion Family-call can improve type 2 diabetes patients discharged diet treatment compliance,and effectively control of blood sugar,blood ester and body weight;Education should be strengthened in patients with type 2 diabetes or accurate assessment of weighing food,the use of the exchange of scale food catering arrangements,treatment should focus on specific operational skills diet guidance.
