STUDY ON THE EXPRESSIVE CHANGES OF BFGF IN HYPERTENSIVE RAT’S CARDIAC MUSCLE CELLS DURING DIFFERENT PHASES

Objective:The basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) can exert remarkable influence on the migration,differentiation and proliferation of cells.This study is aimed to explore the distribution bFGF in rat's cardiac muscle cells in different phases of hypertension by way of immunohistochemistry.Methods:The expressive changes of bFGF in tissue section were investigated by means of immunohistochemistry.The number of bFGF positive cells within unit area was counted.Results:The bFGF was expressed in the cardiac muscle cell of the two groups.bFGF positive cells in Dahl-S groups were much higher than that in the Dahl-R group in the same period(P0.01).The number of bFGF positive cells also increased gradually (P0.01).There were no obvious changes about bFGF in different period of hypertension in DahlR group(P0.05).Conclusions:The expression of the bFGF occurred in the cardiac muscle cells at hypertension,the trend of expression intensified with prolonging of hypertension process.The results indicated that bFGF participated and played important role in hypertrophic reaction.
