Preliminary Discussion of Chronic Peptic Ulcer Treated by Expelling Toxins from Within Body

SUMMARY:At present, the treatments in western medicine to chronic peptic ulcer were only directed against gastric hyperacidity or gastropyloric spirobacteria and the therapy in traditional Chinese medicine were not intended for the pathologica changes of chronic peptic ulcer. The author analysed the characteristics of routine treatment of chronic peptic ulcer and thought that above mentioned caused the therapy efficacy was not apparent. The author hypothesized that the pathogenesis of chronic peptic ulcer was Qi-deficiency and stagnated fire, and the method of therapy of expelling toxins from within body was applicable to ulcer in vivo. In addition, the author provided the essentials of this therapy used for chronic peptic ulcer.
