The application of ladder diagram in the emulation of relay protection system of hydraulic power plants

Emulation of relay protection system of hydraulic power plants is an important part of hydraulic power plant emulation.The emulation should focus on the function of relay protection, allocation of relay protection, the order of operation and result.Microsoft Visio 2002 and ladder diagram logic control system offered by DCOSE.The authors give a case study on Jinshuitan Hydraulic Power Plant and the testing result shows that the emulation system can shows the response to the operations correctly, thereby laying a foundation for emulation training.
