Magnet powder flaw detection system for a train's axletree roller surface based on CCD imaging

The automatic magnetic powder testing system for the surface flaw detection is introduced in this paper.The structure and the principle of the flaw detection system are presented.The testing image acquired by the high precision CCD camera wasproceeded one by one by such signal processing method as local average smoothness,edge extraction and binarizationprocession,after that the suspected defect could be recognized effectly,and it turned that defect automaticrecognition of fluorescent magnetic testing system was possible.
