The research on reactive power optimization based on improved hybrid genetic algorithm

According to the actual situation of power grid,a full consideration on the security constraints of power system has been discussed under the environment of national power market.A mathematical model is established with the objective function at the minimum cost and the most excellent voltage quality.Then it applies the improved hybrid genetic algorithm into reactive power optimization,and uses MATLAB programming algorithm to make a simulate algorithm on IEEE-6 bus test system.The simulation result shows the algorithm is verified and feasibility.
