Urban Solid Wastes Treatment and Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction

The output of municipal solid wastes(MSW) has been achieved 150 Mt/a in China,and the process of MSW treatment has brought vast greenhouse gas emission.So,paying attention to greenhouse gas emission reductions measures of MSW treatment is very important.Aimed at three common MSW treatment measures(landfill,composting,incineration),this paper puts forward the measures of greenhouse gas emission reductions(gathering and utilizing LFG generate electricity;changing high temperature composting into anaerobic digestion and gathering and utilizing biogas generate electricity;obtain energy from incinerating MSW).Through analyzing technical flow and boundary,the baselines and calculation formulas of greenhouse gas emission reductions are gained.These conclusions can offer reference for joining cleanness development mechanism(CDM) project.
