Testing Technology for Structure Damages Based on Piezoelectric Ceramics Dynamic Information

Based on the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric materials,piezoceremic patches(PZT) can be used both as sensors and drivers.By sticking PZT onto the surface of the structure to be tested and employing piezoelectric impedance technology,this paper analyzes and tests the damages of loose bolts in a structure.Piezoceremic-based testing technology for structure damages can be used for real-time on-line damage testing in mechanical structures.It can be used not only to test macro damages,but also to test micro damages with the excitation of high frequency.
