On Combination for Action Effects Considering Temperature Action and other Alterable Actions in Bridge Designing

Different from the common combination mode which calculates the temperature stress alone first and combines the stress with other stresses to be checked thereafter in bridge designing calculating the temperature stress and other alterable actions(or loads) under serviceability limit states,the author proposes that the calculating process may proceed with actions(or loads)—the fundamentality that causes structural reaction.It combines the actions(or loads) of the stress of temperature directly with other stresses to be checked and calculating the latter immediately,which is more acceptable in conception and more distinct in consecution.
