Preparation of Optical Storage Material CaS:Eu~(2+),Sm~(3+) by Hign-temprature Solid Method and Study of Properties

The CaS:Eu 2+ ,Sm 3+ powders were prepared by h igh-temperature solid method in a reducing atmosphere. The influences on propert ies of samples from temperature and fired-time were studied. XRD analysis shows crystal structure of CaS has formed at 700℃. Spectrum analysis results show tha t the sample which was stimulated by 980nm laser after excitated by ultraviolet lamp emits red luminescence which peaking at 667nm .
