Research on Rare Earth Eu, Dy Doped Long Luminescence Glass

MI Xiaoyun XIAO ZhiYi ZHANG Xiyan (College of material and chemistry Changchun University of Science and Technology, Changchun 130022)  
In this paper, Eu_2O_3 and Dy_2O_3 doped aluminosilicate glasses in the air atmosphere and reducing atmosphere were prepared respectively. The samples were studied by using XRD and fluorescence specrometer. The luminescent mechanics of the long luminescence glass were analysised. The results shown that the samples prepared in the air atmosphere did not have the characteristics of long luminescence. The samples treated in the reducing atmosphere behaved long luminescence characteristics. Superior luminescent characteristics and higher intensity were obtained by excited by ultraviolet light. The trap energy levels were deeper. The luminescence of the sample lasted more than 12h.
