Research on Course-Selection Algorithm Based on Dynamic Probability Distribution

The students are widely demanded to select the courses independently after the credit system is put in practice in the universities in our country.Compared with the methods used in previous course-selection systems,one kind of course-selection algorithms is proposed based on dynamic probability distribution which can be more open,equitable,reasonable for most of the students.The start point of the algorithm is the equity for students to select courses.most of the students can choose some courses with almost the same probability,and can make all the students can know whether they have selected some courses in as soon as possible.Based on the research above,a modified dynamic probability distribution algorithm is proposed to meet real-time and equity demand of the course-selection system.Compared with previus algorithms,this algorithm can realize real-time course-selection,and provide the same opportunities to different students for seleting courses.
