Poly-Vanadium-Molybdenum Acid Xerogel Thin Films Fabricated by Sol-gel Process and Their Humidity Sensing Properties

Poly-vanadium-molybdenum acid xerogel thin films have been fabricated using V_2O_5 and Mo powders as the precursors by a sol-gel process.The compound has a layered structure.The valency of the Mo and V are Mo~(6+) and V~(5+),respectively.The humidity sensing properties of the thin films are good in the relative humidity range 11%~95%,the response time and the recovery time are 6 s and 15 s,the temperature error of the humidity is 0.5%RH/℃.
