Application of Auto Gain Control in Micromachined Vibratory Gyroscope

WU Xue-zhong,XIAO Ding-bang,LI Sheng-yi (National University of Defence Technology, Changsha 410073, China)  
For Micromachined Gyroscopes, the vibration amplitude in driving direction changes with the input angle velocity, thus the measuring precision is degraded. This paper presents the use of Auto Gain Control in keeping the vibration amplitude invariable for Micromachined Gyroscope. A proper MIT adaptive control law is worked out. Then the validity and feasibility of that law is checked by simulation. The results of simulation show that Auto Gain Control could improve the measure linearity of Micromachined gyroscope obviously.
