Structural Optimization and Experimental Testing of Detecting Coils of ACFM Probe

A new alternating current field measurment(ACFM)simp li fication model was present by using numerical analysis,and the analytic solutio n of electromagnetic field above the crack was deduced.Then based on this simpl ification model,the structure of BX detecting coil was optimized,and the optimized effect was demonstrated by experimental testing.The research results show with the high of BX detecting coil increasing,the detecting coil's sensitivity of lift-off effect assumes downtrend,at the same time the induced electromotive force of detecting coil obtains the enhancement,which advantage to suppress the lift-off disturbance and to pick-up the weak signals of ACFM e lectromagnetic field.
