Force Feedback Interface Based on Electro-Rheological Fluids

The design of a force feedback interface based on Electro-rheological Fluids(ERFs)is developed for the virtual reality and tele-robotics.The key material of the device is ERFs that experience dramatic changes in rheological properties,such as viscosity,in the presence of an electric field.The principle and structure model of the device are proposed,and the influence of the parameters is analyzed.After the design of the interface,mechanics experiments are done on it,and the validity of the design is verified.
