The Design of Automatic Gain Control in Self-Excitation Drive Circuit of Gyroscope

A realization method of the self-excitation drive circuit of the micromachined gyroscope with AGC function is presented. This AGC system adopts a VGA structure with CMFB and a peak-detect circuit having sample and hold function,and constructs a new-style exponential control circuit. The circuit and layout are designed based on 4 μm 10 V P-wellstandard analog CMOS process,and then the verification is done,the simulation show that the peak-peak value of the output of AGC system is 3.203 V,it consumes 19.2 mV.
