Research on Floater Static Balancing Method For Rate Integrating Gyro Using in Missile

The paper analyses mass imbalance moment influence on the drift error of rate integrating gyro and provides the solution for decrease mass imbalance moment.By using null voltage margin of IA axis and null voltage margin of SA axis controls illumination current of laser apparatus for reduce mass imbalance moment,in order to make mass imbalance moment tend to null.A method used to decrease moment calibration coefficient increases precision of floater static balance.The solutions to decrease mass imbalance moment are called closed loop balance method(CLBM) and altering moment coefficient method(AMCM).The validity on the proposed methods has been verified and has been used to make the gyro.
