Application of Fabry-Perot Tunable Filter Nonlinearity Rectification in Dynamic Strain Sensing System

The nonlinearity of Fabry-Perot(F-P) tunable filter is rectified,based on which the optimized design of dynamic strain sensing system is achieved.Dynamic detection and real-time demodulation of strain parameter are realized using this system.Strain can be demodulated only by detecting the shift of the grating reflection spectrum position instead of detecting the exact position of the reflection spectrum.The drive voltage is rectified using conic fitting algorithm.The experiment results demonstrate that the average error and the maximum error of the tuning wavelength are decreased by 64.6% and 33.8% respectively in the range of 50 nm.The wavelength interrogation error of the system is reduced by 64.3% when the F-P tunable filter is driven by rectified drive voltage.The strain sensitivity of the system is less than 3 με by use of shift average algorithm.The error between the practical value demodulated by the system and the theoretical value is 5% below.
