Study on Micro Differential Pressure Sensor Based on Ferrofluid

Differential pressure is an important mechanical parameter.In order to improve the measurement accuracy,a micro differential pressure sensor was designed by using a new nanomaterial-ferrofluid.A theoretical model was estabilished,and the input-output relationship of the sensor was derived.The sensor adopts the principle of the solenoid differential transformer.,the core of which is the variable mutual inductance,and it achieves the measurement by using both the magnetism and fluidity of the ferrofluid.Experiments showed that the sensor possesses the features of wide pressure range,good linearity,high sensitivity and stability,which can be widely applied to industrial process control,machinery manufacture,biomedical engineering etc.
