Anode for the Electrochemical Glucose Sensor

The conductibility and stability in aqueous solution of the composed material made from the graphite powder and epoxy resin adhesive were studied. The results showed that this composite could be used as the anode instead of the noble metal to fabricate the glucose sensor. The response time, sensitivity and linear range for this glucose sensor were 20~30 s, 60 nA/(mmol·L -1 ) and 0.02~7.0 mmol/L respectively. The response currents had no change within 20 days.
