High accuracy magnetic field measurement methods based on Hall sensor

The measurement accuracy of Hall sensor is easy to be affected by the installation and variety of environmental temperature. Several methods in favor of improving Hall sensor's magnetic field measurement accuracy are introduced. The zero error compensation method, temperature error compensation method and voltage proportional measurement method are discussed. The constant current source circuit is not necessary for the voltage proportional measurement method and the measurement error caused by the variety of environmental temperature can be reduced effectively. The experiment reveals that the magnetic field measurement accuracy measured with the voltage proportional measurement method can reach up to 0.5 %.
